Terms and Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions below before undertaking a hog roast booking.

  • All Hogroast Catering Company (HCC) bookings to be secured by a 50%  non-refundable deposit this is payable within 3 days of receiving a confirmation of booking/invoice. With the remaining balance payable 21 working days before the function.

  • The final balance of the cost of your booking, is due no later than 28 working days prior to the function date. If we do not receive all payments in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you, in which case the cancellation charges set out are 100% of the total booking cost

  • All payments must be cleared by the function day. Hogroast Catering Company (HCC) cannot accept uncleared cheques.   It is the clients duty to inform us how the final balance will be paid. If we are not informed of final payment, we will be within our rights to cancel the function, according to the timescale above.

  • Any amendments to the hog roast booking must be made in writing six weeks before the function.  Cancellations made six weeks before the function date will incur the  100% fee.

  • A late payment fee of £40 will be levied to any outstanding monies .HCC understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms.

  • If guest numbers are to reduce, HCC will discount the cost by up to 10% of the head count originally quoted for, this must be brought to our attention at least 8 weeks prior to the function in writing. This is purely for any extras/ sides ordered, i.e. salads / puddings. The cost of the hog roast /paellas/ BBQ will remain the same and no reduction will be applied. Functions where the guest count has reduced less than 4 weeks prior to the function will incur the full costs. An administration fee of £25 will be applied to any of the above changes. Please note that Hogroast Catering Company are holding the date booked exclusively for you and  in the interim, will have turned down other functions for this exclusivity.

  • HCC shall make all reasonable efforts to perform our obligations under contract but will not be held  liable for any failure or delay to perform any part of the contact resulting in factors outside of our control.

  • We cannot be held responsible for any adverse weather conditions resulting in non-fulfilment of a contract.

  •  All  HCC quotations are valid for 14 days. Quotations can and may be subject to change.

  • If the event is reliant on the client selling tickets, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure the numbers are met. HCC will not reduce the numbers which have originally been quoted for.

  • A parking space is required at the function. With ease of access to the cooking area. All parking permits/fees are to be met by the client.

  • The access to /from the cooking area must be free of any obstruction to ensure the safety of our staff. We regret that we cannot manoeuvre the hogroast machine inside residential properties.

  • Whilst we have trays to catch the hog roast fat, spillages of fat can and may occur. For this reason positioning of the hog roast / bbq is the clients' responsibility and we will not be held responsible for any spillages.

  • The Hog roast will have a two hour maximum serving window.

  • If the function location has any stairs or narrow openings, we may require assistance.

  • If the hog roast is to be served at night, adequate lighting is required at the hog roast area, and also to and from loading.

  • A gazebo will be provided by HCC in the event of bad weather, this is for the chefs use whilst carving.

  • All salads/breads provided by HCC are served buffet style.

  • Hogroast Catering Company cannot take any rubbish away with us due to health and hygiene regulations.

  • All deposits/bookings taken with HCC confirm that you have agreed to the above terms

  • HCC can cater for many different dietary requirements however, it is the client’s responsibility to alert us  to allergies, prior to the event, so we can adjust the menu accordingly and highlight menu items containing said allergens where required.
